The new Black Diamond Edition gets an all-black finish and is based on the top-spec versions of the Apache RTR 310 and RR 310.
TVS Motor Company has launched the Black Diamond Edition of its flagship Apache motorcycles in India. The special edition bikes have an all blacked out finish on both Apache RTR 310 and RR 310.
The Apache RTR 310 Black Diamond Edition is priced at Rs 2.49 lakh, while the Apache RR 310 Black Diamond Edition costs Rs 2.88 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
Here are the key highlights of the new special editions:
1. All-Black Design
The biggest change is the new Black Diamond colour scheme, which gives both Apache models an all-black appearance. The special editions retain the styling of their respective standard versions.
2. Electronic Rider Aids
The motorcycles continue with a comprehensive electronics package. Key features include cornering ABS, cornering traction control, cruise control, launch control and drag torque control.
3. Keyless Ride For RR 310
The Apache RR 310 Black Diamond Edition also gets Keyless Ride, adding convenience to the fully faired motorcycle.
4. Changes in Mechanical Design
The Black Diamond Edition is mostly a cosmetic upgrade with no major mechanical changes announced. The motorcycles continue with their existing powertrain and chassis configurations.

The Black Diamond Edition gives the Apache RTR 310 and RR 310 a new visual identity while retaining their existing performance and technology packages. The RTR 310 continues to compete in the streetfighter space against motorcycles such as the KTM 390 Duke and Triumph Speed 400, while the RR 310 goes up against the KTM RC 390 and BMW G 310 RR.
