TVS Updates the Apache and Ronin Range
TVS Motor Company has made some variant and equipment revisions across the Apache and Ronin lineups. The Ronin range gets a new Base+ trim featuring dual-channel ABS and fresh graphics, starting at ₹1.42 lakh (ex-showroom). The Mid variant receives a connected digital cluster and a Type-C charging port, while the top-tier Ronin adds a Traction Control System and a revised seat, priced from ₹1.64 lakh. Both model lines have arrived at dealerships nationwide from September 17.
2027 Kawasaki Z650RS Launched at ₹7.83 Lakh
Kawasaki India has launched the 2027 model year Z650RS at ₹7.83 lakh (ex-showroom). The middleweight modern-classic motorcycle has no mechanical or cosmetic revisions. It sticks to the 649cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that produces 67 bhp and 64 Nm of torque, and it’s paired with a 6-speed gearbox and an assist and slipper clutch. The bike continues with the steel trellis frame, telescopic front forks, horizontal back-link rear monoshock, twin-pod instrumentation and standard traction control.
Royal Enfield Adds Parachute White Colour to Flying Flea C6
Royal Enfield’s electric sub-brand, Flying Flea, has introduced a third paint option for the C6 electric motorcycle. Named Parachute White, this new dual-tone option joins Flea Green and Storm Black, priced at ₹2.79 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). The finish features white tank panels, blue handlebar grips and contrasting black battery casings. Mechanicals remain as before: a 3.91 kWh magnesium-encased battery paired with a 15.4 kW motor and a claimed 154 km IDC range.
MG Select Introduces BaaS Option for Cyberster and M9 EVs
JSW MG Motor India has extended its Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) ownership program to its luxury channel, MG Select. Under this option, the Cyberster electric now starts at ₹72.49 lakh, while the M9 luxury electric MPV enters at ₹69.99 lakh. Both have a recurring battery rental fee of ₹8 per kilometre now. The program lowers the initial purchase barrier by up to ₹10 lakh compared to original vehicle pricing.
Hyundai Teases Exterior Design of Upcoming Bayon SUV
Hyundai Motor India has released initial exterior design teasers of its imminent Bayon SUV. Sitting between the sub-4-metre Venue and the midsize Creta, the Bayon gets Hyundai’s new Art of Steel design language, which offers the brand’s H-Edge lighting signature, sculpted bonnet lines and split LED projector headlamps. The crossover also has diamond-cut alloy wheels and angular LED taillights. It’s expected to arrive with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and Level 2 ADAS.
Tata Sierra Legend Series Launched at ₹11.99 Lakh
Tata Motors has expanded the Sierra’s lineup with the launch of the Legend Series, starting at ₹11.99 lakh and reaching up to ₹19.49 lakh (ex-showroom). There are 18 variants across five trims: Smart+ L, Pure L, Pure L (O), Pure+ L and Adventure+ L. Other updates include ventilated front seats and an electric driver seat on the Pure+ L, while the Smart+ L gets leatherette upholstery and auto-folding mirrors. The lineup continues as usual with the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and Kryojet diesel engines.
