2026 Honda Elevate Teased, Oct’ 6th Launch

Honda’s updated SUV gets a redesigned front and rear, a more premium cabin and new lighting elements, with the facelift set to launch in India on October 6.

Honda is preparing to launch the facelifted Elevate in India on October 6, 2026, and its latest teasers have revealed several of the changes coming to the SUV. India will be the first market to receive the updated model, while bookings are already open at authorised Honda dealerships for Rs 21,000.

The facelift brings a number of visual changes, both outside and inside, while the mechanical package is expected to remain largely unchanged.

New Front-End Design

The most significant styling change is at the front. The updated Elevate gets three horizontal illuminated elements positioned between the slim LED daytime running lights. Together, they create a wider light signature across the front of the SUV.

The grille below has also been redesigned with a new geometric pattern. Honda has moved its badge from the centre of the grille area onto the bonnet, leaving the illuminated section uninterrupted.

Connected Tail Lamps At The Rear

Honda has given the rear a more noticeable makeover as well. The latest teaser shows red illuminated strips running across the tailgate towards the centrally positioned Honda logo.

Horizontal detailing and dark trim around the lamps further accentuate the width of the SUV. The changes appear more extensive than what earlier spy images had suggested.

More Premium Cabin

Inside, the Elevate gets revised dashboard and door trim. The faux-wood finish on the passenger-side dashboard appears to have been replaced by light-coloured, stitched leatherette-style upholstery.

The same treatment extends onto the door panels, giving the cabin a lighter appearance. Orange ambient lighting runs underneath the dashboard trim and along the doors.

Honda has not yet confirmed the exact materials, but the updated interior appears aimed at giving the Elevate a more premium feel. Ventilated front seats are also expected, similar to the feature offered on the new City.

Digital IRVM Could Be Offered

Another teaser shows the interior rear-view mirror providing a wide view of the road behind. This has led to speculation that Honda could introduce a camera-based digital IRVM.

However, Honda has not confirmed whether the feature is actually a digital mirror or simply a conventional unit shown through creative visualisation.

Engine Expected To Remain Unchanged

The facelift is expected to retain the existing 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine, which produces 121PS and 145Nm. It is currently offered with a six-speed manual and CVT gearbox.Other expected additions include ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof and a factory-fitted 360-degree camera, although these features have not yet been confirmed.

With the launch only days away, Honda is expected to reveal the Elevate‘s complete variant line-up, equipment list and pricing on October 6.
