Bajaj Auto has released the first teaser of its all-new Pulsar ahead of its August 12 debut. While the company is keeping most details under wraps, our renders try to reveal the changes expected on the next-generation motorcycle.
Bajaj Auto has officially begun teasing the next-generation Pulsar ahead of its global debut on August 12, 2026. The upcoming motorcycle will also commemorate 25 years of the Pulsar brand, one of the most successful and recognisable performance motorcycle nameplates in the Indian market.
The teaser itself doesn’t reveal much, showing only glimpses of the motorcycle’s silhouette and lighting signature. However, multiple test mules spotted over the past few months have already given us a fairly good idea of what Bajaj has in store.
The upcoming Pulsar appears to feature an all-new design with a sculpted fuel tank, sharper tank extensions, redesigned side panels and a completely revised tail section. The front fascia is also expected to get a fresh LED headlamp setup along with updated daytime running lights, giving the motorcycle a more modern appearance while retaining its unmistakable Pulsar identity.
One of the biggest changes is likely to be inside the cockpit. The next-generation motorcycle is expected to receive a fully digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation support and smartphone notifications. Bajaj could also offer a USB charging port and redesigned switchgear to bring the Pulsar in line with newer rivals in the segment.
The underpinnings are also expected to receive an overhaul. Spy shots suggest the motorcycle could ride on a revised chassis with updated suspension, while new alloy wheels and a redesigned rear section point towards a more comprehensive upgrade than what we’ve seen on previous Pulsar facelifts.
Mechanically, Bajaj is expected to retain the familiar 125cc single-cylinder engine, although minor revisions for improved refinement, fuel efficiency and emissions compliance are likely. The engine is expected to continue with a five-speed gearbox, keeping the focus firmly on everyday usability.
While Bajaj hasn’t confirmed the model name, reports suggest the motorcycle is likely to replace the existing Pulsar 125, one of the oldest products currently on sale in the company’s portfolio. Given the extensive changes visible on the test mules, the new motorcycle could become the template for future Pulsar models across different engine capacities.
The launch also carries symbolic importance for Bajaj. Since its introduction in 2001, the Pulsar has played a defining role in popularising affordable performance motorcycles in India. Even today, it remains one of the company’s strongest-selling brands despite increasing competition from TVS, Hero MotoCorp and Honda.
The teaser may not reveal much, but it certainly hints at the biggest evolution of the Pulsar in years. Whether Bajaj has reworked only the styling or introduced significant mechanical changes underneath will become clear when the motorcycle makes its official debut on August 12.
