Volvo EX90 EV

Volvo is preparing to launch its flagship EX90 electric SUV soon with a dedicated born-electric platform. The vehicle has a massive 111 kWh battery pack powering twin electric motors that produce over 400 bhp. It changes Volvo’s design with flush door handles and pixel LED headlights to reduce aerodynamic drag. This EX90 will also offer a 655-litre boot behind the second row, according to preliminary reports. It will be for buyers who want active safety hardware and zero-emission highway cruising in the same package.
Audi Q3
Expected Launch Date: October 16, 2026
Audi India will bring the third-generation Q3 during the festive season, updating its entry-level luxury SUV with a completely overhauled exterior. The new model offers split-headlamp styling and a wider octagonal grille, which brings its appearance in line with Audi’s flagship Q8. Powertrain options are the same; you get the 2.0L TFSI petrol engine paired with the Quattro all-wheel-drive system and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, and power has been updated to 201 bhp from 187 bhp. But the redesigned rear roofline expands the boot opening, making loading heavy suitcases noticeably easier than before.
Tata Avinya
Expected Launch Date: Late 2026-Early 2027
Tata Motors will introduce the Avinya as its most ambitious electric vehicle yet. Its exterior combines the proportions of a large hatchback with the length of an MPV. And since the wheels are pushed to the absolute corners of the chassis, the cabin floor is completely flat, unlocking rear-seat legroom that rivals executive sedans. The battery has also been fitted directly into the floorpan to maximise structural rigidity. This vehicle will mostly appeal to buyers who want interior passenger space more than traditional SUV styling.
JSW Motors Jetour T2

JSW Motors is entering the rugged lifestyle SUV segment with the Jetour T2. It has a boxy, upright exterior with robust plastic cladding and a tailgate-mounted spare wheel, directly targeting the off-road market. The SUV offers 220 mm of ground clearance to navigate deep potholes and rocky trails without underbody damage. Inside, its cabin layout offers functional storage spaces and durable materials over delicate touch surfaces. It will be a highly capable PHEV alternative for off-road enthusiasts who find soft-roader SUVs too fragile.
Honda Elevate EV

Honda Cars India will make its mass-market zero-emission debut with an all-electric derivative of the Elevate SUV. While keeping the same boxy stance, upright greenhouse and 220 mm clearance of the petrol model, the Elevate EV will add aero wheels, a blanked-off signature grille and underbody battery shielding. Powered by an estimated 50 kWh battery pack delivering roughly 450 km of ARAI range, it will be for buyers who want conventional SUV packaging backed by Honda’s established reliability.
Skoda Epiq

Skoda is expanding its electric portfolio into the compact segment with the Epiq SUV. Designed for tight urban environments, it has a minimalist exterior with a closed-off front grille and solid bumper cladding to resist low-speed city scrapes. And despite its compact footprint, the dedicated EV platform offers a highly usable 475-litre boot, far more than what standard petrol hatchbacks have. The model uses a single-motor configuration that delivers around 400 km of city range, and will be an apt choice for commuters who want effortless parking and high cargo capacity.
