February 24, 2026 Yoshika Chhabra

The TVS iQube ST is the latest iteration of TVS Motor Company’s electric scooter offering in the Indian market. Positioned above the base iQube and the sportier iQube S, the TVS iQube ST is all about range, features, and practicality. If you are thinking of making the transition to electric mobility, here are six things that you should consider before making the purchase.

1. Battery Capacity and Power Output

The TVS iQube ST gets a 5.3kWh lithium-ion battery pack which is the largest capacity battery in the TVS iQube lineup. It is paired to an electric motor that produces 4.4kW (5.9hp) of power, and 140Nm of peak torque.

TVS also claims an 82kph top speed, which is well within the requirements of commuting in an urban setting. The ev motor has been tuned to put down power in a linear manner that is well suited for city commutes.

2. Range and Charging Time

The iQube ST has plenty going for it, one of the key selling factors being its Indian Driving Cycle (IDC)-certified range of 212km on a single full charge. This makes it the best long range scooter in its class. Although the actual range will depend on the mode of use, traffic, and the weight of the rider, the larger battery pack does alleviate some concerns regarding range for buyers who have to travel longer distances on a daily basis. The time taken to charge the scooter from 0 to 80 percent using the recommended charger is 4 hours and 18 minutes.

Please refer to the table below for a quick competitive analysis.

Brand Model IDC Claimed Range Home Charging Time (0-100%)
TVS iQube ST 212 km ~6 hr 30 min
Ola Electric S1 Pro (Gen 2) 195 km ~6 hr 30 min

3. Display and Connected Features

The iQube ST is differentiated from the S variant as it comes with a 7-inch TFT touchscreen display. The ST comes with Bluetooth connectivity, turn by turn navigation, along with smartphone connectivity through TVS’s SmartXonnect system. The rider can access ride data, notification alerts, and navigation instructions right on the display.

The scooter offers two distinct ride modes: Eco and Power. This feature is particularly useful, allowing the rider to select the appropriate mode for their commute, whether navigating city streets or traveling on the highway. By switching between these modes, riders can effectively balance the need for optimal mileage and strong performance.

4. Storage and Everyday Practicality

Usability is still one of the strong points of the scooter. The scooter comes with 32 liters of under-seat storage space, which is enough to accommodate a full-face helmet and personal accessories. The scooter’s floorboard is highly useful as it improves riding ergonomics and conveniently serves as a space to carry cargo.

5. Dimensions, Weight, and Accessibility

The weight of the iQube ST is 132 kg. The height of the seat is 770mm which makes the scooter easy to maneuver even for short riders. The scooter is easy to control when traveling slowly through traffic because its weight is distributed evenly, even with the large battery.

6. Price and Competing Models

The iQube ST costs Rs 1,58,834 ex-showroom. This is due to its larger battery size and feature set. Targeting tech-savvy consumers, the Ather 450X and Ola S1 Pro are competitors in the same category.

Conclusion

The TVS iQube ST is a versatile electric scooter with a long range, connectivity, and functionality. It is an excellent option for anyone looking for a dependable and feature-rich electric scooter in India’s growing electric two-wheeler market.
