Tata Motors has expanded the Sierra range with the Dark edition, which gets a black exterior, violet-themed cabin and new trim and powertrain combinations.
Tata Sierra Dark Edition Launched
Tata Motors has launched the Sierra Dark Edition in India at an introductory price of Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The new version brings a darker exterior finish, a revised cabin theme and purple chrome detailing to the SUV, while retaining the mechanical specifications of the corresponding standard variants.
Prices for the Sierra Dark Edition extend up to Rs 21.59 lakh for the Accomplished+ diesel automatic. The edition is available across six trims — Pure L, Pure L (O), Pure+ L, Adventure+ L, Accomplished and Accomplished+.

Black Exterior, Violet-Themed Cabin
The Sierra Dark Edition gets a Friesian Black exterior, giving the SUV a more understated appearance while retaining its existing design. Inside, Tata has introduced a Violet Eclipse theme with black leatherette upholstery and purple chrome accents.
There are no mechanical changes specific to the Dark Edition. Equipment and features continue to vary according to the respective trim level.
Sierra Lineup Now Has 65 Variants
With the addition of the Legend Series and Dark Edition, Tata Sierra’s lineup has expanded to 65 trim, engine and gearbox combinations across 18 trim and edition names. The range starts at Rs 11.49 lakh and goes up to Rs 21.59 lakh.
The Dark Edition alone contributes 23 combinations, comprising nine naturally aspirated petrol variants, three turbo-petrol variants and 11 diesel variants. Across the entire Sierra range, buyers now have 34 manual and 31 automatic options.
