The special-edition Duster adds unique exterior styling, premium features and two turbo-petrol engine options while retaining the SUV’s rugged appeal.

Renault has launched the Duster Adventure Edition in India with a base price tag of Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This is the second special edition of the new Duster SUV after the previously launched Iconic Edition. The Adventure Edition has been designed for those who want a more distinctive-looking midsize SUV. It’s available with the same two engine options offered in the standard Duster. The exterior design is based on the Evolution variant of the regular Renault Duster.
Exclusive exterior treatment

Renault has designed a unique graphic on the rear quarter panel featuring topographical contour lines and the geographical coordinates of Leh (34.27 N, 77.60 E). The reason behind this interesting design choice is the fact that the Renault Duster was rigorously tested in the rough conditions of Leh. Additionally, there is a special badge on the front doors and exclusive Adventure Edition floor mats in the cabin.

More features than the Evolution trim

Features include a panoramic sunroof, powered tailgate, and automatic dual-zone climate control, making the Adventure Edition one of the best-equipped variants in the lineup. Other standard features include a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch TFT digital instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 17-inch alloy wheels, all-LED headlamps, and six airbags.
Engine options unchanged
When it comes to mechanics, there are no changes in the Adventure Edition compared to the Renault Duster. Customers can choose from two engine options. The first is a 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine producing 100hp and 160Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed manual transmission only. The second is a 1.3-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine producing 163hp and 280Nm of torque. The bigger engine can be mated to either a six-speed manual or a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Price and rivals
Priced at Rs 12.99 lakh for the 1.0-litre turbo-manual, Rs 13.99 lakh for the 1.3-litre turbo-manual, and Rs 15.39 lakh for the 1.3-litre DCT, the Adventure Edition provides customers with exclusive styling and extra convenience features without having to opt for top-spec models. This model continues to compete with other mid-size SUVs in the segment.
