New Toyota Hyryder Aero Black Edition Launched at Rs 15.19 Lakh

The special-edition Toyota Hyryder Aero Black Edition features black styling across its exterior but retains the same petrol and strong-hybrid engines.

The limited-edition Toyota Hyryder Aero Black Edition has received a new styling package from the Japanese automaker. The special edition costs Rs 31,999 more than the regular Hyryder, with the final price starting at Rs 15.19 lakh (ex-showroom) and going up to Rs 16.74 lakh, depending on the variant and powertrain. The Aero Black Edition package will be available for a limited period through Toyota dealerships.

Limited to the Midnight Black exterior shade, the special edition is available only on the G(O) and V trims with petrol and strong-hybrid engines.

The special-edition package is purely cosmetic, as nothing inside the vehicle has been changed apart from the styling. Numerous chrome elements have been replaced with black elements, including the headlight detailing, front grille and tailgate styling. The silver detailing on the front bumper has also been finished in black.

An Aero Black Edition logo completes the exterior transformation.

Price and Powertrain Options

The Hyryder G(O) variant with the Aero Black Edition is priced at Rs 15.19 lakh, whereas the V variant is available for Rs 16.74 lakh. The Aero Black Edition costs Rs 31,999 over the corresponding regular variants and is offered on eligible petrol and strong-hybrid versions of the SUV.

No mechanical alterations have been made. The Hyryder is offered with a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine producing 103hp and 137Nm, which is mated to either a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. It can also be offered with either two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive.

The CNG variant produces 88hp and 121.5Nm and is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.

In the strong-hybrid variant, it produces 115hp through a combination of a 1.5-litre three-cylinder petrol engine and an electric motor. Alongside this, it comes with a 0.60kWh lithium-ion battery and e-CVT, while power is sent only to the front wheels.
