Hyundai’s upcoming Intelligent Utility Vehicle gets a bold SUV design with H-Edge lighting, sculpted surfaces and a technology-focused interior.
Hyundai Motor India has revealed the first design sketches of the upcoming Bayon, following the recent announcement of its name. Developed as a global product, the Bayon has been designed as an Intelligent Utility Vehicle, combining a stronger SUV identity with bold styling and urban versatility.
The design sketches preview Hyundai’s evolving Art of Steel design language, which uses sculpted surfaces, sharp character lines and architectural proportions to create a sporty and robust appearance.
Going by the sketches, the Bayon features a sculpted hood, pronounced fenders and a distinctive H-Edge lighting signature. These elements, along with robust lower body elements, give the SUV a confident and futuristic stance.
Hyundai has also provided a glimpse of the Bayon’s interior. The cabin is designed around intuitive interactions and connectivity. The company says the interior is aimed at offering a premium experience. The design combines defined surfaces, muscular proportions and signature lighting with a technology-focused cabin.
Hyundai is expected to reveal more details about the Bbayon closer to its India launch.
