The undisguised motorcycle hints that Hero MotoCorp has begun dealer familiarisation ahead of the official India launch.

Hero MotoCorp is reportedly in the final stages of launching the Karizma XMR 250 in India, as the motorcycle was spotted undisguised at a dealership. This suggests that dealer familiarization and technician training have started, which usually happens before deliveries begin. The bike was exhibited at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. As the name suggests, the Hero Karizma XMR 250 will be the flagship fully faired model in Hero MotoCorp’s ICE range, and prices are rumoured to start at around Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom).
Sporty styling with premium hardware

The Karizma XMR 250 production version bears a strong resemblance to the concept, and it comes with a sporty fascia that includes a high windscreen, dual LED DRLs around a centrally mounted projector LED headlight, and aerodynamic winglets. Gold-coloured upside-down front forks give it a touch of elegance.

The side profile highlights include sculpted body panels with XMR badging, a muscular fuel tank, clip-on handlebars, and split seats. The riding posture looks sporty while still being suitable for commuting as well as weekend touring. The rear styling includes an LED taillamp, split grab bars, a short exhaust, and alloy wheels shod with performance tyres.

Engine and features
Hero’s new 250cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine powers the Karizma XMR 250. The unit produces 30PS of power and 25Nm of torque, and comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The XMR comes with a preload-adjustable rear monoshock, disc brakes at the front and rear, along with dual-channel ABS. Switchable ABS may also be on the cards.
Some key features of the bike include a fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, a lap timer, a drag timer, a USB charging port, full LED lighting, and adjustable clip-on handlebars.
