The Indian two-wheeler segment is hot right now, with the overall industry growing at double digits this financial year. Given the uptick in sales, Bajaj Auto seems to be pursuing an aggressive product strategy with a rollout of eight new and refreshed motorcycles by mid-year. We take a closer look at the potential new bikes that Bajaj could introduce to its product portfolio.
Revised focus on Pulsar
Pulsar was the first Indian performance bike brand developed by Bajaj at the turn of the millennium, and the brand has built a steady fan following over the last two and a half decades. Riding on the wave of performance, Bajaj will be launching refreshed versions of the Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150 in 2026. While mechanical changes will be limited, expect minor updates such as improved Bluetooth integration and possibly LED headlights.
New brand for a 125cc motorcycle
While the Pulsar range will continue to focus on performance, Bajaj plans to launch a new brand for a commuter-friendly 125cc motorcycle. The focus will be on offering premium features and an ergonomic ride triangle for daily usability. The two-wheeler will be priced below the current Pulsar range to clearly distinguish it from the sportier 125cc Pulsar offering.
Dominar for international markets
Touring motorcycles are a big hit in international markets, and Bajaj has seen robust demand in this segment with its hyper tourer. Bajaj will focus on expanding this portfolio, and we can expect newer colour options and special edition Dominar models, both locally and internationally.
Adventure motorcycle speculation
Apart from this, Bajaj might also launch an adventure tourer model to compete against Royal Enfield’s Himalayan and the TVS RTX 300. We expect these new products to carry forward hardware such as engines from the current 250cc and 400cc platforms used in the Pulsar lineup.
This product blitz aligns with the overall growth of the Indian two-wheeler market, which is expected to grow by 12–15 percent in 2026. Given Bajaj’s know-how in producing motorcycles for brands like Triumph and KTM, product introductions at such a rapid pace seem achievable for the Pune-based two-wheeler manufacturer
