Updated diesel MPV gets refreshed styling, premium cabin upgrades and new convenience features.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched the 2026 Innova Crysta facelift in India at a starting price of Rs 19.72 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated MPV receives refreshed styling, revised interior elements and a few new convenience features.
Despite the arrival of the newer Toyota Innova Hycross, the ladder-frame-based Innova Crysta continues to remain popular among fleet operators, commercial buyers and private owners alike. Toyota says the Innova brand has crossed more than 1.3 million sales in India over the past two decades.
Refreshed Exterior Styling

The most noticeable updates are at the front.
Toyota has redesigned the grille with a bolder appearance and a thicker chrome surround, giving the MPV a more premium look. The number plate housing is now positioned within a blacked-out central section.
Both the front and rear bumpers have also been revised with additional chrome detailing, enhancing the Innova Crysta’s muscular stance while retaining its rugged MPV appeal.
Cabin Gets Premium Enhancements

Inside the cabin, the Toyota Innova Crysta has introduced new copper-finished accents across the dashboard, centre console and door trims to improve the overall premium feel.
The AC control panel and dual-tone seat upholstery have also been updated, giving the interior a fresher appearance while maintaining the practicality and comfort the Innova is known for.
New Features Added
The 2026 Innova Crysta facelift also receives several convenience-focused updates.
Wireless phone charging is now offered on the VX and ZX variants, while the top-spec ZX trim additionally gets a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) for improved safety and convenience.
Proven Diesel Engine Continues

Mechanically, the Innova Crysta remains unchanged.
Power comes from the familiar 2.4-litre turbocharged diesel engine producing 148 hp and 343 Nm of torque. The engine continues to be paired exclusively with a 5-speed manual gearbox, with no automatic transmission option on offer.
Toyota has focused primarily on cosmetic and feature upgrades rather than making mechanical changes.
Toyota Reaffirms Commitment To The Crysta
During the launch, Toyota highlighted the strong customer loyalty built by the Innova brand over the years. The updated Innova Crysta aims to retain that trust by combining proven reliability and practicality with refreshed styling and improved features.
With these updates, the 2026 Toyota Innova Crysta is expected to strengthen its position in the MPV segment, despite increasing competition from the Innova Hycross and other premium people movers in the market.
