TVS-owned Norton has commenced production of the all-new Atlas and Atlas GT in India ahead of their global debut, with deliveries set to begin in Q3 2026.

Norton Motorcycles has now started production of the brand-new Atlas and Atlas GT models at TVS’s manufacturing plant in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. This development comes before the motorcycles officially debut next month, with deliveries commencing in the third quarter of 2026.
It is important to note that this new production process marks an important milestone in the re-emergence of Norton under the stewardship of TVS.
First Atlas Motorcycle Comes Off the Assembly Line

While the design and engineering of the motorcycles are carried out at Norton’s Solihull factory, their manufacturing has been outsourced to TVS Motor Company.
As per reports from the company, Norton’s Solihull factory is already fully occupied with the production of the Manx R, a limited-edition motorcycle. Hence, the advanced manufacturing facilities at TVS’s Hosur factory made it the perfect place to manufacture the Atlas. According to Norton, the first batch of Atlas motorcycles has started rolling off the assembly line at the Hosur plant.
State-of-the-Art 585cc Twin Engine

The Norton Atlas will be fitted with an all-new 585cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, delivering a healthy output of 70PS and 57.5Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed transmission.
The Atlas and Atlas GT compete in the rapidly growing mid-sized motorcycle segment, where they go up against models from Triumph, Kawasaki, Honda, and Suzuki, among others.
Modern Rider Assist Systems and Technology

The new Norton machines come with an advanced set of rider aids and technology. Some notable features include a Bosch six-axis IMU providing lean-angle-sensitive traction control and ABS.
Apart from this, the bikes come with five ride modes, a cornering cruise control system, a fully adjustable KYB suspension setup, and an 8-inch TFT display. Such features ensure that the Atlas is among the most technologically advanced motorcycles in its segment.
Launch in India Later in 2026
As far as the Norton Atlas launch is concerned, the brand has revealed that the Norton Atlas and Norton Atlas GT models will be unveiled in India in the second half of 2026. Both motorcycles will be made available through TVS Paddock, the company’s upcoming premium retail channel.
With production already underway and the global debut just around the corner, the Norton Atlas marks a significant milestone in the journey of both Norton and TVS Motor Company.
