Honda unveils 10 India-made two-wheelers; ADV160, Rebel 300 and CB500 lead the lineup

Seven all-new models and three updated products signal Honda’s biggest India product offensive across scooters, motorcycles, EVs and flex-fuel models.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has rolled out a massive assault on the Indian market with a 10-model range of India-made two-wheelers across multiple categories. The lineup includes seven all-new models and three existing models with new colour options, demonstrating the company’s commitment to strengthening its presence in the commuter, premium and electric mobility segments. Details regarding the prices and launch schedule of the new range will be announced in phases closer to their market launch.

The lineup includes the ADV160 adventure scooter, Rebel 300 cruiser, CB500 roadster, XR300 Rally and QC3 electric scooter, along with other commuter and flex-fuel models.

Honda claims the new products have been designed keeping the needs of Indian consumers in mind.

Wide variety across multiple segments

The biggest highlight is the ADV160, Honda’s flagship adventure scooter, which will compete with rivals such as the Yamaha Aerox 155 while offering better touring capabilities.

The Honda Rebel 300 marks the brand’s entry into the entry-level cruiser segment, while the CB500 caters to buyers looking for an accessible roadster.

For adventure enthusiasts, there is the XR300 Rally, which draws inspiration from Honda’s off-road and rally heritage. The motorcycle is designed for riders who want to tour long distances and tackle trails without compromising on everyday usability.

Electric and flex-fuel strategy

The company has also expanded its electric two-wheeler portfolio with the QC3, a family-oriented electric scooter powered by a 3kWh battery. It has an IDC-certified range of 151km and takes around 2 hours and 40 minutes to charge from 0 to 80 percent.

Apart from electric mobility, the automaker will also introduce flex-fuel-compatible models in response to India’s evolving emission regulations and sustainability initiatives.

Increasing India’s significance

According to Honda, the new lineup will further strengthen India’s role as a key manufacturing and development hub for the Japanese automaker. The company currently operates four manufacturing plants in the country and has served over 76 million customers through more than 7,000 sales and service touchpoints.

The expanded portfolio will include scooters, cruisers, roadsters, adventure motorcycles, electric scooters and flex-fuel-compatible models. This marks one of Honda’s biggest product offensives in India in recent years.
