Honda City facelift has been spotted testing once again ahead of its launch on May 22, revealing new exterior colours and interior feature upgrades. The refreshed sedan was recently teased by Honda Cars India and has started reaching dealerships across the country.
What do the latest spy photos reveal about the Honda City facelift?
The latest spy photos confirm that the Honda City facelift will be available in white and a new black shade, indicating the addition of a fresh colour option for the sedan. The black exterior shade enhances the updated styling and gives the City a sportier and more premium appearance.
At the front, the car gets redesigned LED projector headlights with eyebrow-style LED DRLs. The grille appears slimmer than before, while the revised bumper features black inserts to reduce the bulky look. Honda is also expected to offer redesigned 16-inch alloy wheels, although the tyre size is likely to remain unchanged at 185-section.
At the rear, the sedan receives smoked-effect LED tail-lights, a revised bumper and a boot spoiler.
Honda City Facelift: Interior And Features
Inside the cabin, the updated City gets a larger free-standing infotainment screen along with ambient lighting. Spy shots also reveal ventilated front seats positioned below the single-zone automatic climate control panel.
Other updates include the addition of a 360-degree camera system with a front camera, redesigned cup holders and a repositioned wireless charging pad. Honda’s Lane Watch assist camera mounted on the left ORVM is expected to be retained.
The updated City is likely to continue with the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a CVT. The City e:HEV hybrid variant with an e-CVT transmission is also expected to continue. After launch, the sedan will rival the Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Virtus and Skoda Slavia.
