Mahindra has officially confirmed its upcoming lifestyle pickup with a new teaser, while a trademark filing suggests it could be called Scorpio X.

Mahindra has officially confirmed its much-awaited lifestyle pickup with a new teaser. The production version of the 2023 Global Pik Up concept will make its debut on August 14. The company is yet to reveal the final name, although a trademark filing for Scorpio X suggests this could be the name used for the production model.
The 40-second teaser doesn’t reveal the pickup in full, but it gives us a good look at several exterior details. Mahindra is expected to share more information as we get closer to the debut.
Mahindra Scorpio X pickup: What does the teaser reveal?

The front-end design takes inspiration from the Scorpio N but gets enough changes to give the pickup its own identity. It features L-shaped LED daytime running lights around slim LED headlamps, while the fog lamps sit vertically on either side of the bumper.
The grille gets a hexagonal design and carries Mahindra’s Twin Peaks logo. A camera is positioned just below the logo, suggesting that the pickup could get a 360-degree camera system. Mahindra could also offer its 540-degree camera setup, which adds an underbody view and is available on the 2026 Scorpio N.
Moving to the side, the teaser confirms a double-cab layout with a long rear load bed. This gives the pickup the practicality expected from a lifestyle truck and puts it in the same broad space as the Toyota Hilux and Isuzu D-Max.
At the rear, the tailgate gets large ‘mahindra’ lettering, while the LED tail-lights feature a C-shaped design.
What else do we know?

The pickup shares its underpinning with the Scorpio N, but Mahindra has given it a more rugged and lifestyle-focused appearance. The longer body and open load bed clearly separate it from the SUV.
There is still plenty that Mahindra hasn’t revealed. The powertrain, dimensions, equipment and pricing are yet to be announced, with more details likely to emerge around the August 14 debut.
For now, the biggest takeaway is that the Global Pik Up concept is finally heading into production. Whether Mahindra eventually uses the Scorpio X name remains to be seen, but the latest teaser confirms that the company’s new lifestyle pickup is almost here.
