Jawa 42 All Stars Launched At Rs 1.80 Lakh With 60+ Updates

Jawa has introduced the updated 42 All Stars with revised styling, improved chassis dynamics, a wider rear tyre and an unchanged 294.72cc engine.

Jawa has launched the 42 All Stars in India at a starting price of Rs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Positioned as the flagship version of the 42 range, the motorcycle receives more than 60 enhancements across its design, chassis, ergonomics, handling and comfort.

The new variant joins the 42 FJ All Stars and 42 Bobber All Stars in Jawa’s special-edition lineup. The updates are aimed at giving the retro roadster a more substantial stance while retaining its familiar modern-classic design.

Revised Styling And Wider Rear Tyre

The Jawa 42 All Stars features redesigned side panels, a wider rear fender and new alloy wheels. The motorcycle also gets a compact, upswept twin-exhaust setup, replacing the outgoing design. The rear tyre has been upgraded to a wider 150/70-17 unit, giving the motorcycle a broader visual stance and footprint.

The seat has also been redesigned with additional cushioning while retaining the flat, bench-style profile associated with the 42. The round headlamp and 13.2-litre fuel tank continue to be part of the motorcycle’s design.

Chassis And Hardware Updates

Jawa has made several mechanical revisions, including changes to the frame and swingarm stiffness, mass distribution and ergonomics. The company says these updates are aimed at improving agility, control and overall comfort.

Suspension duties are handled by 35mm telescopic forks at the front and gas-filled twin shock absorbers with adjustable preload at the rear. Braking hardware includes a 280mm front disc and 240mm rear disc, supported by dual-channel ABS.

Engine Remains Unchanged

The Jawa 42 All Stars continues to use the 294.72cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine. It produces 27.19hp at 7,950rpm and 26.3Nm at 6,000rpm, with power sent to the wheel through a six-speed gearbox.

The motorcycle weighs 175kg, gets a 1,369mm wheelbase and offers 173mm of ground clearance.

Price And Deliveries

The Jawa 42 All Stars is available in six colour options, with prices ranging from Rs 1.80 lakh to Rs 1.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Black and Ivory variant is priced at Rs 1.80 lakh, while the All Stars Black and Nebula Blue versions cost Rs 1.90 lakh. Deliveries are scheduled to begin on September 14.
